Euthanasia Process

Understanding Pet Euthanasia and Cremation: Compassionate Care in Difficult Times

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner will face. At North Valley Veterinary Center, we understand the deep bond you share with your companion and are here to support you with empathy and respect during this challenging time.

  • Euthanasia
Euthanasia is a gentle and humane way to relieve your pet from pain and suffering when quality of life declines. The process is peaceful, with your pet surrounded by love and comfort. Our caring team will walk you through each step, ensuring you feel supported and informed. We offer and encourage the option for you to stay with your pet during the procedure, should you choose, so you can provide comfort during their final moments.

    Cremation Services
After saying goodbye, we provide dignified cremation services as part of your pet's final care. You may choose between private cremation, where your pet is individually cared for and their ashes are returned to you, or communal cremation, where they are respectfully laid to rest with other pets.

Our team is here to guide you through these decisions, answer your questions, and provide resources for coping with grief. Remember, your feelings are valid, and we are honored to support you in commemorating the unconditional love and joy your pet brought into your life.
